The wonderful diversity of nature attracts cyclists in the Val Passiria. Countless mountain bike tours and challenging trails are offered in the varied landscape around St. Leonhard and St. Martin. Those who are on the road with the racing bike, can tackle the Timmelsjoch or take the way to the Jaufenpass. The Passeirer cycle path follows a wide gravel path along the Passer from St. Leonhard to Merano. Mountain bikers explore the valley along side roads and on single trails above the tree line. The new Bike Trail Hinterbrugg in St. Leonhard is one of the MTB highlights. In St. Leonhard there are 26 varied MTB tours to choose from.

The “Psairer” bike trail takes you through the magnificent landscapes of the Val Passiria. The refreshing river Passer accompanies you along the entire bike path. Starting point is the town of Merano: from Thermenplatz we head east through Elisabeth Park into Val Passiria, always on the right bank of the river out of the city area. On the right side is Scena with the castle, the church and the mausoleum of Archduke Johann. On the left side are villages Tirol and Riffian. Passing Saltaus, half of the way have already been completed. The river is crossed several times as the trail changes side. At Quellenhof you pass the golf course. The trail ends at St. Leonardo in Passiria.
